Ten years after moving to its current location on Manheim Pike, Brent L. Miller Jewelers and Goldsmiths is building a new, larger home next door.

Adjacent to its store at 1610 Manheim Pike, a new 15,000-square-foot building is now being constructed that will include a 9,500-square-foot showroom as well as new offices and storage areas. The new showroom will have about 25% more space then the current, 7,500-square-foot one.

The new showroom will offer an expanded bridal selection, hospitality lounge with coffee and drinks, as well as private shopping room. There will also be seven branded boutiques from jewelry and watch manufacturers featured at Brent. L. Miller.

The store is set to open later this year, according to a description shared by Ryan Miller, president of the company and son of its namesake founder. He now owns the company with his mother, Jo Miller.

“We deeply appreciate the 44 years of support from the Lancaster community and are excited to continue serving them in this enhanced setting,” the store description said.

Miller did not respond to questions about the cost of the project or the plans for the current showroom building once the new one is ready.

In 1980, Brent and Jo Miller opened a jewelry store in downtown Lancaster at 219 N. Queen St. In 2004, two years before Brent Miller died, the store moved to a spot in the Chelsea Square shopping center along Manheim Pike. In 2014, the store moved to its current building.
