Sprinkler

Water sprays from a sprinkler on Penn Manor’s Comet Field, in Lancaster Township, Thursday, June 13, 2024.

The Lancaster County Office of Aging has extended senior center hours for the second week in a row to help older adults stay cool during the extreme hot weather.

The office encourages seniors to take advantage of air-conditioned spaces such as libraries, community and senior centers, schools, churches and malls during heat advisories to reduce the risk of heat-related illness.

For more information, contact the Office of Aging at 717-299-7979 or email aging@lancastercountypa.gov.
