Larry Thomas Zorbaugh, 85, of Lancaster, entered heaven into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Calvary Homes. Larry was born in Hanover, PA to the late Kenneth L. and Mildred (Garrett) Zorbaugh and was the husband of the late Mary Jane (Bolton) Zorbaugh.
Larry graduated from Philadelphia College of the Bible and earned his master's in education at Greenville College, Illinois. He taught mathematics at Plattsburgh Community College in Plattsburgh, NY, then taught high school math at Dover High School in Dover, PA, The Christian Academy in Brookhaven, PA, and Lancaster Christian School in Lancaster, PA. During his teaching years he was a beloved basketball and baseball coach. Larry and his wife were members of Calvary Church of Lancaster where Larry spent his retired years as a faithful custodian.
Larry is survived by four children: Thomas, husband of Christine (Robinson) Zorbaugh, of Lititz, Tammy Evans, wife of Timothy Evans, of Willow Street, Jody Zorbaugh of Middletown, Jayne, wife of Ron Stief, of Lititz, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
A casual reception to commemorate the life of Larry Zorbaugh will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Warwick Township Municipal Building, 315 Clay Road, Lititz. Family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m.
