Brenda J. Blazic, 74 of Manor Township passed away on Tuesday evening, January 30, 2024 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy after battling cancer for several years. Born in Lancaster on September 18, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Richard Dunkle and Anna L. Ferguson Dunkle.
Brenda graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School. She worked as an office manager for Hershey Equipment and in the clerical field for other companies. She also enjoyed painting and papering, which she did on her own for nearly 10 years.
Brenda enjoyed playing volleyball with the Shady Ladies earlier in life and dancing. She also loved the beach, swimming at the pool, baking and cooking, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Brenda will be missed by her daughter, Lindsey J., wife of Michael Calhoun of Mountville and her sons, Kirk J. Blazic of Mountville and Kent J. Blazic of Lancaster. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paige, Olivia, Tyler, Austin, Camoren, Jaxon and Hudson and her sister, Betty Jo Neuer of Millersville. She was preceded in death by her daughter in law, Michelle Blazic.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family at Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
