A section of Maple Shade Road in Colerain Township will be closed from May 20 through July 27 due to a bridge-replacement project.
Contractors will replace a bridge over Cooper Run, located about a mile east of Kirkwood.
A detour will be in place using Route 472, Noble Road, and Bell Road.
The work is part of a $2 million project to replace three Lancaster County bridges, set to be completed by Sept. 4. The other bridges are located on Route 741 (Strasburg Road) in Paradise Township and Walnut Run Road in Strasburg Township.
The contractor is Doli Construction Corp. of New Britain Township, Bucks County.
