I would like to express my satisfaction with the recent road construction work completed at Landis Valley Road and Kissel Hill Road in Manheim Township.
Living a stone’s throw from the area, I was able to witness the progress from start to finish. From the initial groundbreaking to the final line painting on the road, the project was, and is, impressive.
All too often we get impatient with “inconveniences” in our lives. Yes, the construction was a bit of a problem. But in the end, it will be a huge improvement for an area that’s constantly jammed up with traffic.
Kudos to the township planners, contractors and everyone else involved — especially the boots on the ground that endured the elements and made it happen!
