Days after announcing his decision to pull out of the 2024 U.S. Presidential election, President Joe Biden will address the nation from the Oval Office Wednesday evening "on what lies ahead" and how he will "finish the job for the American people."

The speech is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. EDT.

Biden dropped out of the presidential race Sunday, though he intends to serve out the remainder of his term. He has already declared his support for Vice President Kamala Harris as the new presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party.
