Ann B. Barshinger, 100, of Lancaster, PA, died on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. and Elizabeth Miller Boyd. She was married to the late Richard S. Barshinger for 55 years who died in 2001.
Ann graduated from William Penn High School and attended the Thompson Business School. She worked for the Red Lion Milling Company. She was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sara Boyd of Glen Rock, PA and her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Rischel of Seven Valleys, PA, Richard Boyd of Leonardtown, MD and twins, Elizabeth Thames of Cleveland, Ohio and Nicolas Boyd of Wellsville, PA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Boyd.
Ann's Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Ann & Richard Barshinger Center for the Musical Arts, Franklin & Marshall College, 600 College Avenue, Lancaster on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with a Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Parking is available at the Williamson parking lot, 850 Harrisburg Avenue. Private interment will be held in Red Lion Cemetery.
